Product Review!

I received this as a Christmas gift, and I just LOVE it! It made my lashes impossibly long with just the right amount of thickness. It is completely worth the price, and may just be my new favorite mascara.

Estee Lauder Turbo Lash Mascara $32.

4/4 stars.

On Trend: Black Lips

To black lip, or not to not black lip. While I think it looks fab on the model, in real life I think it just looks strange, and would do nothing for most complexions. If you are interested in this trend check out the following lip colours: Phia Black from Lancome, Pur Black by Yves St. Laurent, and Stormy by Kat Von D.

Don't Toy With Me- A shimmery hot pink/red.
Brand New Skates- Smokey gray with sparkle.
Play 'Til Midnight- Navy blue with slight purplish shimmer.

MAC Russian Red
I am in love with this color. It is a gorgeous rich red with blue undertones. The texture is matte, but not dry. It really stayed on and didn't smudge or smear. The color went on my lips exactly how it looked in the tube. The lipstick is fab and I would recommend it to anyone.

New Stuff I Want

NARS is one of my favorite beauty brands, and I can't wait to check out the new colors for Holiday 2008. Night Life is a metallic glimmering silver, and Silent Night is a Metallic glimmering gold. If they're anything like the other shadows in the Night series I am sure I won't be disappointed.

Estee Lauder Shimmering Jewel Powder
I was so excited when I saw that this was coming out for Holiday 2008. I love shimmer and think gold shimmer looks great as a highlighter; however, I was disappointed by this product. The shimmery effect is just that, an effect. Once used, the sparkly part disappears. The powder leaves a glow, but for a holiday product I wish that the shimmer was all the way through the product. I just expect more for $32.

Product Review!

Lancome Oscillation Mascara
Product claims:
battery operated oscillating brush makes lashes appear extended
and remarkably separated and multiplied.

I was unimpressed, I thought it was clumpy and I thought the smell
of the product left much to be desired. It definitely made them thick, but I thought it looked a bit costume y. With a $34 price tag, I just don't think it's worth it.
